Senior Data Modeler - SQL or Oracle

SQL Data Modeler


Fairfax based software product company has an immediate need for a Senior Data Modeler.

This position is onsite in Fairfax and all candidates must be a US Citizen or Green card Holder!

What you will need?

- Strong knowledge of CA - ERWIN, SQL server, and TSQL

- Excellent SQL scripting / development

- Understanding of accounting and financial transactions in financial services environment

- Logical and physical data modeling, design, and implementation of OLTP and dimensional data

- Experience with SSRS, SSAS, and SSIS is a plus

- Exposure to other data modeling tools is a plus

- Experience using ETL and Data Warehousing is a plus

What you will be doing?

- Creating entity relationship design and diagrams using CA-ERWIN

- Create reference and test data based on business requirements

- SQL script development

- Follow and maintain enterprise data naming standards

- Help / Advise developers with SQL issues/questions and table design for optimal performance
