Jr. - Mid-level Configuration Management - CM - Build Manager

Fairfax based software product company has an immediate need for a Junior to Mid-level Configuration   Manager ( CM ).



This position is onsite in Fairfax and all candidates must be a US Citizen or Green card Holder! No corp-to-corp or H1-visa arrangements.


What you will need?

- 3-5 years of Configuration Management and build manager work experience.

- Working knowledge of CM practices and principles regarding configuration identification, control, status accounting and auditing.

- Experience supporting parallel software development, software code branching, labeling and merging activities.

- Experience building and managing application software baselines and multi-tiered LINUX and Windows application environments.

- Experience writing shell scripts for internal CM, build, packaging and deployment activities.

- Experience writing a CM Plan and technical procedure documentation.

- Experience using and managing Subversion or other software management tools such as ClearCase and PVCS.

- JBoss, WebSphere, Apache, IHS, SSL, AD/LDAP and MS SQL Server experience is a definite plus.
