Jr. Support Engineer - Unix / Linux

Reston based SAAS hosted solutions company is currently seeking a Support Engineer to join their growing team. The company offer a combination of software, data management, and advanced analytics to generate business result for their growing client list.

All candidates MUST be local and either a US Citizen or a Green-card Holder!
- No Corp-to-Corp arrangements

What you will need?
• Minimum of 1 year experience in Linux/Unix environment.
• Experience in software development life cycle and deployment and change
management procedures.
• Experience in handling XML/Yaml configuration files for configuring the software
components.
• Excellent software troubleshooting skills and the technical expertise to isolate the
problem.

What you will be doing?
• Develop data interfaces using the Core API to load client data or export data.
• Support and monitor the production environment for the successful execution of
daily jobs and runs.
• Trouble shoot the errors and exceptions to find the root cause of the problems.
Need to escalate the problems as appropriate in a timely manner.
• Work with the Services Team in ensuring highest quality customer experience by
promptly responding to the system change requests and provide feedback to keep
them informed of the progress.
• Work with the Core Development Team in fixing the problems and adhere to strict
software deployment guidelines.
• Work with the adhoc data requests in querying the data using SQL/command line
tools.
