Software Implementation Lead

Fairfax, VA based software product company has an immediate openings for a Software Implementation Project Manager. The Software Implementation Manager/Engineer is the primary lead interface with the customer throughout the software implementation process, providing expert knowledge and ensuring that the software is ready for customer use. The candidate will be responsible for planning, leading, managing all phases of the deployments of the financial based software. Detailed activities will include project scheduling and project management, analyzing business needs, business and software configuration with the customer, training and consultation during live implementation.




All candidates MUST be local and either a US Citizen or a Green-card Holder.

- No Corp-to-Corp arrangements.



What you need:

- A minimum of 3+ years experience in onsite customer facing roles, implementing enterprise solutions, although other experience will be considered.

- Ability to lead projects and manage a diverse group within the team

- Ability to convey complex business and technical details and present this information to groups.

- Expert troubleshooting skills, strong analytical problem solving skills, and the ability to solve technical challenges.

- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server technologies, SQL Server, DB knowledge is a plus.

- Strong interpersonal, communication, management and technical skills are required as are a positive attitude and solid ethics.

- Ability to manage customer expectations; develop and manage detailed project plans.

- Willing to work flexible hours.

- Approximately 20-25% travel is required.





What you will be doing:

- Serve as the point of contact between the customer and all sales, configuration, data migration, development, professional services, support and project team members during the implementation process.

- Manage the implementation project until successful completion.

- Participate in internal meetings as well as lead weekly status meetings with the customer.

- Maintain detailed project plan, issue tracking and action items list.

- Provide the customer with appropriate software and project documentation.

- Work closely with customer project lead and entire project team to ensure that all deliverables are delivered successfully and on time.

- Lead on site analysis with customer.

- Follow up and escalate gaps, issues and enhancements identified throughout the project.

- Display a high level of knowledge and consistent service throughout all interactions with customer.
